Java/Machine Learning SW Engineer - Grenoble (France) - TEMIS, an Expert
System company

We are currently looking for a Java/Machine Learning SW Engineer for our
R&D department based in Grenoble, who will directly report to the
Engineering Director in France.
In this position, you will work in Agile mode and participate to various
developments for our product suites Luxid(r) and Cogito(c).

In particular you will be responsible for:

- support the development and industrialization of information
  extraction components in a multilingual environment, using machine
  learning-based technologies for natural language processing;

- adhere to the company development processes and quality standards,
  particularly in terms of technical design, testing, robustness,
  scalability and performance.

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in computer science and a
first proven experience on Java development activities using machine
learning approaches. Fluency in English is a must. Good level in other
languages is a plus (Arabic, European & Asiatic languages).

Qualifications required:

- A deep knowledge of libraries and algorithms in the Machine learning
  field (CRF, neural networks, deep learning, Mallet, Weka, Mahout, R,
  etc...)

- A good knowledge of Java development (threading, synchronization,
  etc...)

- A proven experience in development process is a plus (Eclipse, Git,
  Jenkins, Maven, unit and functional testing) in environment
  Windows/Linux/Cloud.

- Experience with Big data applications managing high volume is a plus
  (high availability, fault tolerance, load balancing, deployment
  constraints, etc...)

- Ability to work in a multinational environment

- Ability to share common tasks with the team, facing issues with a
  critical approach to reach a conscious decision;

- Systematic approach to problem definition, to analyze information and
  understand the main point problem.

In this position you have to be available to brief business trips in
France.
