Description of the job A vacancy for Linguistics - Natural Language Processing (NLP) - Human Factors specialist (h/f) has arisen within Airbus Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the EYD- Linguistic and physiology department. Human Factors (HF) aim at optimising the link between people and their activities by using applied human sciences. Human Factors professionals evaluate and are part of the definition of Airbus 'Human Machine Interface' and methods used to design them. They ensure design compliance of Airbus products with the required human performance level and therefore demonstrate certification and quality of the Airbus design. Working in multidisciplinary teams, you will be autonomous to define HF position which could be different than the design team's position, managing project. Opportunity can be offered to an Airbus-internal highly motivated candidate to enter a 10-month University and on-line training to gain basic Human Factor's/Linguistics competence. This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. You will be in charge of Linguistics and Natural Language Processing studies in the Human Factors department of the Design Office. Later on, the evolutions in other Human Factors Airbus entity will be possible. Job main challenges: - Stay Customer and Safety focused - Keep a critical view on the proposed and evaluated solutions.
