Position Overview

As a member of the Data Sciences team, you will participate in the
development of our proprietary Text Mining and Natural Language
Processing technologies. You will conceptualize and create new
algorithms, and improve existing ones on data mining and knowledge
discovery/visualization. Your work will be used internally by our
back-end and front-end teams, with performance in mind as we are
processing huge volumes of data (up to 50 million documents on a daily
basis).

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong machine learning
background, be a quick learner, have proven software development
skills, and work well in small cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

    Significant experience in Python development

    Understanding of Machine Learning algorithms : classification,
    clustering, tagging

    Strong knowledge of one or more of the following technologies :
        Big data: ElasticSearch, Spark (pyspark), etc.
        Data analysis: Pandas, etc.
        Experience with JVM languages and / or GO language

    Experience with Natural Language Processing methods for machine learning

    Experience with data visualization

    Understanding and experience with Deep Learning training
    algorithms, in particular Recursive Neural Networks.

    Intellectual curiosity and passion
