Research Assistant in text-mining infrastructure development *Reference **OMTD-CDD-0771* The Bibliome team of the MaIAGE lab (Mathematics and Informatics Applied to Genome and Environment) at INRA in Paris area invites applications for a research assistant fellowship position in text-mining infrastructure development. The research associate will contribute to the H2020-EINFRA project, Open Mining Infrastructure for Text and Data (OpenMinTeD) that aims to build an open software infrastructure to foster and facilitate the use of Text and Data Mining (TDM) technologies by the scientific community. The successful candidate will collaborate with European leading teams in text mining infrastructure development across several European centres. They will contribute to extend theOpenMinTeD Galaxy framework to the text-mining domain and to port the Alvis tools developed by Bibliome to OpenMinTeD. Bibliome is a leading team for text-mining with expertise in information extraction, semantic text analysis, ontology building and text-mining pipeline, in the interdisciplinary environment of MaIAGE bioinformatics laboratory. The candidates should have a master degree or PhD in computer science, bioinformatics, or engineering degree in computer programming. *Location* Jouy-en-Josas, France (15km from Paris) *Period* 12 months starting June or July 2017. The position is bound to work in OpenMinTeD project. Extension after this period may be possible. *Salary* Bibliome follows INRA's salary grid which takes into account diploma and experience.
