*German Linguist Position*

Snips is a Paris-based Artificial Intelligence startup. We are building
the technology to add voice interfaces to connected devices. One
specificity of our approach is that privacy is a primary concern. To
make sure the data stays where it belongs, all of our algorithms are
embedded into the connected devices themselves. You can find out more on

Two of the challenges we are working on are Automatic Speech Recognition
(ASR), and Natural Language Understanding (NLU). In the last year, we've
designed state-of-the-art solutions to these problems in French,
English, Mandarin, and Korean. We are now looking for an awesome German
linguist to help us extend our solution to German.

We are offering a 1-month German linguist position in the NLU team. Your
role will involve the following:

- train us and teach us some basics about the German language

- help us develop our different algorithms in German

- help us define our German crowdsourcing strategy

- test our technology


Job details:

- Duration: *1 month* (35 hours per week)

- Start date:* between November 13th and November 27th*

- Gross salary: calculated from a yearly basis of *17 000¤ to 40 000¤*
  depending on your experience

- Other compensations: free food and drinks
