Mission Title Korean Linguistic Specialist for LLM-Powered Chatbot Development Requester Naver Labs Europe - Apply by e-mail to: denys.proux@naverlabs.com Expected start date Jan 2026 Introduction Context Mission Location This mission will take place at Naver Labs Europe, 6-8 chemin de Maupertuis, 38240 Meylan, France Mission Description of the mission We are seeking a native Korean speaker with a linguistic background to support our Research & Development team in building a Large Language Model (LLM)-powered chatbot. The goal of this chatbot is to provide natural and engaging conversations that allow users to order coffee and various beverages in Korean. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the linguistic quality, naturalness, and cultural relevance of the Korean language generated by the model, while collaborating closely with both international and Korean-speaking team members. Contract Type and Duration - Type: Fixed-term contract or freelance (depending on candidate's location and availability). Part time (3 days a week). - Duration: Initial 3-6 months, renewable based on project needs and performance - Work mode: On-site. Tasks Key Responsibilities - Language Quality Evaluation Assess the uency, accuracy, and naturalness of Korean text generated by the chatbot's LLM. Identify grammar issues, unnatural phrasing, and cultural inconsistencies. - Error Analysis and Model Feedback Identify systematic weaknesses or limitations in the language model's Korean outputs and document detailed examples illustrating these issues. - Improvement Strategy Development Propose strategies to enhance Korean generation quality, including linguistic guidelines, prompt design improvements, or data augmenta on methods. - Synthetic Data Creation Support the generation and validation of synthetic conversational data in Korean to help train and refine the model's dialogue capabilities. - Cross-Team Communication Serve as a communication bridge between the R&D team and Korean colleagues at NAVER, ensuring clear understanding of linguistic goals, quality standards, and model updates.
