We are looking for a post-doc in Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning as part of the ANR-PIA project Linto, an open source smart personal and meeting assistant: https://research.linagora.com/display/linto/LinTO+Overview. If you have recently defended a PhD thesis (or are close to defending) and have experience with deep learning methods in NLP or Machine Learning in general, then this is your chance to work in close collaboration with several internationally renowned research groups and industrial partners and grow as an independent researcher. The aim of the Linto project is the development of a meeting assistant which will be able to understand spoken language in the context of meetings and propose useful information to the participants. The focus of this post-doc position will be the development of deep learning methods for the understanding of natural dialogues. Input can be either transcripts from an Automatic Speech Recognition System or internal representations from a neural architecture of such a system. Our goal will be the modeling of dialogue in the form of speech acts, discourse structure and discussion threads. Post-doc duration: 20 months Requirements: PhD in computer science / computational linguistics / alike or equivalent work experience, solid research track, experience with deep learning methods in NLP, strong knowledge of Python and deep learning frameworks (Keras, AllenNLP, PyTorch or others).
