The Sonos Voice Experience team in Paris is offering an internship inside the Language Team, to help us improve the Sonos Voice Experience, i.e. the voice interaction with our smart speakers. More specifically, you will perform the evaluation of our Speech Recognition models: - for different varieties of English (American English, Canadian English, British English, etc) - and possibly for different populations inside a country (gender, age range, region of origin, native language) Your tasks will involve preparing the needed data collection, as well as following up and assessing the quality of the collected data. You will then launch evaluations and perform deeper error analysis to identify areas of improvement. You will be trained to use our internal evaluation tools, and will learn about the whole Spoken Language Understanding pipeline (Automatic Speech Recognition and Natural Language Understanding).
