Uncertainty-Guided Low-Resource Domain Adaptation for Question Answering

What You'll Work On:

-   Developing uncertainty-guided strategies for adapting Question
    Answering models in low-resource domains
-   Designing pipelines involving confidence-based filtering, active
    data selection, and semi-supervised/self-training approaches
-   Conducting experiments on domain-specific QA datasets and analyzing
    robustness, calibration and generalization
-   Implementing and evaluating domain adaptation techniques
-   Collaborating with SLB researchers to generate insights that may
    lead to publications, benchmarks, or internal AI frameworks

Required Skills:

-   Master's in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields
-   Strong communication skills (English - oral & written)
-   High motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and creativity
-   Knowledge of generative AI, NLP, applied mathematics, probability &
    statistics, deep learning
-   Programming: Python, PyTorch, LangChain
