MediaInterface is developing the dictation and speech recognition
solution SpeaKING for more than 500 hospitals and rehabilitation
clinics and around 700 medical practices in Germany, Austria and
Switzerland as well as in France.

In order to cope with the current challenges of entering the French
market, we are looking for a person to support our software development
team at our office in Dresden, Germany as soon as possible:

Computer linguist/phonetician/linguist

Your profile
-    native speaker of French
-    good command of English or, preferably, German
-    linguistic and/or phonetic skills
-    experience in handling text and speech corpora
-    preferably programming skills for manipulating texts
-    teamwork and communication skills
-    bonus: experience with medical texts

Your Mission
-    acquiring, editing and purifying raw text and speech data from our
     French clients
-    correcting entries in our pronunciation lexicons
-    standardizing spellings of French words
-    building and testing vocabularies for our French speech recognition
